NILES, IL — The Maria Santissima Lauretana Society of Altavilla Milicia is proud to announce that acclaimed Chicago spinto tenor and classical crossover artist Benjamin De Los Monteros will take the stage on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 4:30 PM, as part of the Society’s 125th Annual Feast honoring Maria Santissima Lauretana.
Now celebrating 125 years, the Feast is one of the oldest and largest Italian-American festivals in the Chicagoland area, drawing thousands each Labor Day weekend to Golf Mill Park at 8400 W. Church St. in Niles. Rooted in a Sicilian devotional tradition dating back centuries, the celebration blends sacred procession — including the beloved “Volata,” or Flight of the Angels — with a joyful street festival of authentic Italian food, live music, carnival rides, and fireworks.
A Chicago native of Spanish and Mexican heritage, Benjamin De Los Monteros brings a voice that pairs lyric warmth with dramatic power, channeling the passion of tenors like Pavarotti and Bocelli alongside timeless Italian standards and classic crossover favorites.
